Hi, I’m Stephanie!

Who I Am

I'm a UX designer with success leading teams to achieve FDA approval at a biotech company and teaching English in rural Japan. Always looking to challenge myself, I’m taking my past experiences into the field of UX design.

What do biotech and teaching have to do with UX design, you may ask? I believe working in biotech sharpened my analytical skills and ability to adapt quickly under pressure. And teaching developed my creative problem solving and communication skills (also the confidence to not take myself too seriously).

My Design Philosophy

I approach design the same way I approach every role: finding purpose in improving the lives of others with a deep sense of empathy, complete with an enthusiastic spirit and a positive attitude.

I enjoy ideating simple and elegant solutions that push the envelope and inspire positive change in the everyday lives of users.

Let’s Connect!

I love the opportunity to meet new people and learn new things, dialogue, and mutually grow. I’m always down for a chat over tea (I don’t drink coffee but feel free to!) or even a stroll outside (some of my best ideas come to me while walking).
